Dulcet Italian Greyhounds located in Portsmouth, Ohio is home to a completely modern kennel facility. Careful attention to the safety and comfort of our dogs is a priority. Inside the main kennel building we have spacious kennel runs as well as pens for adverse weather and nighttime safety. Numerous windows and overhead lights provide pleasant illumination and the building is well ventilated and completely climate-controlled.

The rearing of healthy, happy, well-socialized puppies is an important part of what happens in the kennel. Puppies are born in the Whelping Area of the kennel where a private and safe atmosphere is provided to mother and babies.

The full time kennel staff maintains a high level of sanitation and prepares meals twice daily, in addition to giving each dog the personal care and attention they need. The Grooming Area is an important room for the dogs at Dulcet. Although Italian Greyhounds don't need much grooming, this care and attention is vital to the health and socialization of every dog.

Visitors to the kennel are welcome Wednesday through Saturday with an appointment. Please call us if you will be in our area and want to visit our dogs!
