The Blood Custom
About 6 months ago, a friend and I decided to start a punk, hardcore, and metal podcast. We wanted it to be hard and heavy and kind of tongue-in-cheek when it came to death and destruction and such. Almost a parody in the look and style of it.
We started The Blood Custom using iChat and Garageband to record our episodes and published on our web space using Loudblog, an open source solution based, in part, on Textpattern. We published 5 episodes, then put the project on hiatus due to school and family restraints.
I created the site in a day, using stock photography and Photoshop. Over the next month or so, I put the items in the store together. They’re all somewhat basic since I didn’t know just how much intricacy CafePress was capable of. Also it was my first time doing any sort of “fashion” design. The merchandise was all created in Photoshop and Illustrator.
