The Words You Scribbled on the Walls
December 5
Well, I made it through NaNoWriMo again. It went easier this year, with no crazy 12,000 word days. I took the whole month, though, which I didn’t want to do. I wanted to finish early, but I ended up passing 50k around three p.m. on November 30th. All that I’ve written so far is available here, of course. Just follow this link.
So, what’s been going on during the month? Not a whole lot. I got a little bit more done on Webpen but not much, since I promised Elaine that I wouldn’t touch Webpen until I was finished with NaNo. So I didn’t. But I thought about it. But now that I’m back to working on it, I’m not sure what to do at any given part. Guess that’s just part of what comes from taking such a long break.
If you want to read more about the development of Webpen, you’ll have to tune into my new geek blog over at code-zom.be. I won’t be posting much geek stuff here any longer, mostly just design and regular blog shit.
So what’s new around the homefront? Well, John has some news, but I’ll let him tell it. We had a good Thanksgiving this year. Everyone came up and we had turducken. Yes, a chicken stuffed into a duck stuffed into a turkey. It’s good. DON’T JUDGE US!
Christmas is coming and I know I have no idea what’s going to happen. I’m sure we’ll go to both parents’ houses, but Elaine’s only going to have four days total. That’ll be a LOT of driving. Still, it’s good to spend that time with family and friends. If we don’t get around to seeing you, know that we’re definitely thinking of you. Whoever you are.
Well, I’m tired after having to clip poo out of the cat’s butt hair. Yeah, lovely image. I’m gonna go watch some TV or something. Have a nice night all.
Dude, webpen is broken. I am saddened. HAHA! You finished your nanovel around the time I finished my second one, that’s cool timing. :) Anyway, I’m at work and sneezing my goddamn face off so I’m going to wander away before my monitor is slathered in snot. Blech. Peace be the beaver.
