Yes, it’s deadline again. God, I hate this. It’s the worst part of this job. Boss said he didn’t want us working any more all-nighters, but here I am at 5:00 a.m. Oh well. At least I get paid for it.

Well, the redesign is going slowly but surely. So far the blather and music sections are restyled. The reworking is going kind of slowly for a few reasons. One, I’m trying to clean up my Textpattern forms, page templates, and styles from the previous 3 or 4 versions (which involves a lot of new forms and cross-checking of older ones to make sure they’re not going to be used anywhere). Two, work has gotten in the way lately, as it is, as I mentioned before, deadline. That tends to usurp a few days. Three, I’m reworking the way a few of the sections work. For instance, you’ll now be able to comment on the weekly MP3s.

We’re going to take tomorrow (well, today…whatever) off, so maybe I can spend a good chunk of the afternoon slogging through all of this and get another section or two working and looking like I want.

If any of you haven’t seen it yet, Elaine’s site has finally gotten built to a state of usefulness. I still have a few things to finish on it (the menu and a few sections), but it’s more than usable and readable. So, go use and read it! Leave her comments on her pretty Lomos.

I don’t think I’ll write a dissertation tonight, as I’m getting pretty sleepy and it’s probably a good idea to just let the computer compile the PDFs and get finished so we can go home and sleep. So, until awaker times.
